Mission
To teach practical plumbing skills that are safe, correct and up to standard, in a way that fits around work and family life.
Your Plumbing Academy was started by working plumbers who kept meeting the same people on site: willing, capable people who wanted to learn the trade properly but could not leave their jobs to sit in a classroom for months.
So we built a school that brings the workshop to you. Our courses cover plumbing the way it is done on site, from pipe materials and jointing, water pressure and valves to drainage falls and traps, geysers and their safety devices, and the regulations behind them. Every lesson is backed by practical tasks, so you finish each course able to do the work, not just talk about it.

Every module follows the same rhythm. Watch the video lessons, work through the study guide and pass a short online quiz. Then complete a practical task with a practice kit, or on a real job under supervision, and upload photos or a video with a short checklist. A tutor assesses your work and gives feedback, and your progress is tracked module by module until you finish the course.

Practical Assessments
Our courses start at the basics and build up to trade test level, so there is a starting point for everyone.
No experience needed. Learn how water supply and drainage work, how to fix common problems safely and when a job needs a registered plumber.
Handymen adding plumbing to the work they offer, and apprentices who need structured theory and practice alongside their on-site training.
Experienced plumbers without formal papers who want to formalise their skills, brush up on the regulations and prepare for the trade test.
Choose a course and start learning this week, or speak to our team about which course fits your experience and goals.
