Refund Policy

This policy explains when you can cancel a course enrolment or return an item bought from the Your Plumbing Academy shop, and how refunds are paid.

Courses: before your course access starts

If you cancel within [number] days of payment and before your course access has started (you have not logged in to the course or opened any lesson), you will receive a full refund.

Courses: after your course access starts

• Once your course access has started, [describe your rule, for example: no refund, or a partial refund for unused months less an admin fee of R [amount]].
• If you are paying in instalments and cancel, future instalments are stopped. [Explain whether instalments already paid are refunded or kept for the modules already unlocked.]
• Course access ends on the date your cancellation is processed.

Digital study materials

Digital study guides, workbooks and exam packs cannot be refunded once they have been downloaded, unless the file is faulty and we cannot fix it.

Tool kits, practice kits and PPE

• Physical items can be returned within [number] days of delivery, unused, in their original packaging and with proof of purchase.
• Faulty or damaged items are repaired, replaced or refunded in line with the Consumer Protection Act.

Group and company training

Group & Company Training is cancelled and refunded according to the cancellation terms in your quote.

How to request a refund

Email accounts@yourbusiness.co.za with your name, order number, the course or item and the reason for your request. We aim to review requests within [number] working days.

Approved refunds

Approved refunds are paid back to the original payment method, or to your bank account for EFT payments, normally within [number] working days. [Explain whether any transaction or processing costs are deducted.]
